New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) announced that it will make nearly $12 million in grants to assist licensed child care providers who have been impacted by the health emergency.
ECECD is partnering with EDD to administer these grants in collaboration with other possible small business assistance funding, so that providers can access multiple funding opportunities in a streamlined fashion.
The CARES Act provides $3.5 billion to the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) in grants to states for immediate assistance to child care providers; New Mexico received approximately $29.4 million.
Join us on May 12 for a discussion about this funding opportunity. Representatives will discuss eligibility and the application process. Participants will be able to ask questions throughout the presentation.
If you are unable to join, a recording of the presentation and slides will be available on the EDD website. All registered participants will also receive these links by email.
