SANTA FE – The New Mexico Board of Barbers and Cosmetologist is advising hair and nail salons, barber shops and other businesses and schools it regulates to limit the number of professionals and clients in their facilities at one time to 10 people total if they choose to remain open during the COVID-19 pandemic.
These businesses may need to adjust student and employee schedules to be in compliance with the public health order. Failure to comply is a violation of the order and could result in penalties.
